May saw the successful conclusion of the 2nd edition of Destinazione Turismo – Speciale Piemonte (held at the Piedmont Region skyscraper in Turin) and the 1st edition of Destinazione Turismo – Speciale Campania (hosted at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa in Naples). Both events were promoted by AIAV – the Italian Association of Travel Agents, in partnership with Creativa, which managed the entire communication strategy.

These conferences served as key opportunities for dialogue, updates, and exchange within the tourism sector. Participants were presented with updated data on tourism flows and key performance indicators for 2024, along with insights into ongoing projects and a forward-looking perspective on the industry’s evolution. The events fostered shared reflection among institutions, public and private entities, professionals, and stakeholders, with the goal of strengthening a tourism strategy that is conscious, sustainable, and capable of enhancing regional identities.

AIAV President Fulvio Avataneo, supported by moderators Remo Vangelista (journalist and editor-in-chief of TTG Italia) in Turin and Massimiliano Sarti (journalist and chief editor of The Bulletin – THRENDS Tourism & Hospitality Analytics) in Naples, skillfully led engaging discussions with numerous distinguished guests from across the national tourism landscape.

The quality of the speakers and the high level of interest shown confirm the relevance of these events, which will return next year with the 3rd edition in Piedmont and the 2nd in Campania. There is also a strong ambition to expand Destinazione Turismo to other Italian regions, continuing to build and tell the story of the future of national tourism—together.

A growing format with its sights set on the future, aimed at promoting places and people. Creativa is ready to tell that story—step by step.
