After a start in the creative area, he specialised in strategic marketing and communication. He is among the first to ride the digital evolution, participating in several international networks of advertising agencies. A specialist in communication for the public administration and territorial marketing, he has managed and directed important public and private projects for entities and territories.

Business development in tourism and territorial marketing:

The specialisation in tourism marketing began in 1980 through the long relationship of collaboration with the TTG Italia Group, at first taking care of the communication of the publishing titles and later developing in an integrated way the trade fair activities carried out first in Riva del Garda and then definitively in Rimini. For TTG Incontri, Globe and TTI until 2016. Activities and projects carried out for the sector:

– The development of the promotional-commercialisation plan for the Taormina Etna Tourist District (with a budget of over 4 million euro), as general coordinator and supervisor for the ATI, where he developed various activities: development of the visual identity, B2C and B2B press campaign, organisation and management of educational tours, participation in national and foreign trade fairs, organisation and management of the information call-center, television and radio media campaign, creation of promotional and exhibition material, creation of the web portal and digital activities.

– The development of the design and realisation of the communication plan for the valorisation and cultural animation of the museum circuit of the 4 ‘Museums of Etnean Historical Identity’ (Randazzo, Maletto, Bronte and Linguaglossa), focused on cultural tourism and territorial marketing, following the launches of the 4 Sicilian Museums.

  • The development of the project for the promotion and valorisation of the traditions and typicality of the territory of the GAL Peloritani, Terre dei Miti e della Bellezza in north-eastern Sicily, focused on tourism promotion strategies with particular reference to the valorisation of the cultural and agro-food traditions of the territory.
  • – The development of the digital campaign ‘Torino Capitale del Gusto’ (social media management, ADS and programmatic), on behalf of Turismo Torino and CCIAA Torino, collecting relevant results also in proportion to the budget used.
  • – The development of the campaign for the Piedmont’s historical residences enhancement project, managed for DMO Piedmont, obtaining important results in terms of digital audience
  • – Since 2016, it has been working with the Milan office of the Ivory Coast Ministry of Tourism to relaunch the country as a tourist destination for Italians.
  • – In 2020, he oversaw the communication of the Italian Association of Travel Agencies, AIAV, which comprises more than 2,000 member agencies. For AIAV he developed the events ‘Destinazione Piemonte’ and ‘Destinazione Campania’.
  • – Recently he has been developing the communication and promotion of the Tour Operators Goonitaly and Piemonturismo, as well as the TouchPoint Turismo platform.

Other activities and projects carried out for the public administration sector:

– The development of the communication and management of 11 editions of the annual ‘Researchers’ Night’ event in Piedmont, promoted by the European Commission for the promotion of scientific and cultural research.

– The development of project communication for the awareness-raising campaign of the regional screening programme ‘Prevenzione Serena’ managed for the Piedmont Region – ASL Biella

– The development of the project communication for the awareness-raising campaign for integration and legal migration (FAMI), curated for the Piedmont Region

– The development of the project communication for the awareness-raising campaign against pathological gambling (GAP), edited for Regione Piemonte and for ARES SARDEGNA

– The development of the communication for the event IO LAVORO curated for the Regional Employment Agency of Piedmont

– The most recent projects were the launch of the Proximity Offices and the promotion of the second edition of the Festival delle Regioni, both for the Piedmont Region.

-Since the beginning of his professional career, he has been developing and managing companies operating in industry and services for this sector. We cite some of the most recent companies served, as an example of a long realisation path: Schneider Electric, Uniflair, Robomove, Primeconcept, Borla, Ricomi, ADACI, DDC, 2i3T.

– From 2020 to 2025 he was a member of the Board of Directors of ASSAP Services, a company of UNA – Aziende della comunicazione unite – for the provision of services to members

– Since 2023 appointed by MIMIT – Ministry of Business and Made in Italy- with the role of ‘Innovation Manager

Lectures, research and participation in events

  • Attentive to changes in the sector, he founded and directed the Permanent Observatory on Changes in Communication – OPCC, as vice-president of UNICOM National Association of Communication Companies now merged into UNA, publishing the results in sector magazines and blogs, as well as participating in seminars and conducting professional training courses.
  • Participation in the creation of the ‘Digital Innovation in Tourism’ Observatory of the School Of Management of the Milan Polytechnic in 2014, to analyse the changes in digital tourism in Italy. Still collaborates with the Observatory in the development of research.
  • Conception and management of the training event ‘TUTTI A TAVOLA’ through the creation of 10 thematic tables led by expert trainers and researchers – Milan 10/04/2015 in Grattacielo Pirelli
